The Senior Controls Engineer will be instrumental in providing innovative automation solutions in our Addison TX office. This role requires demonstrated technical proficiency in implementing automation solutions with PLC HMI SCADA and DCS/Delta V platforms. You will engage directly with customers and lead a team of engineers to identify requirements develop specifications and implement test and commission automation solutions. Skills
- Experience in PLC Programming
- Indepth understanding of Emerson DeltaV platform
- Familiarity with PLC hardware/software platforms such as Rockwell Automation Siemens and Modicon
- Proficient in HMI/SCADA hardware/software platforms (e.g. FactoryTalk Aveva Ignition)
- Knowledge of DCS hardware/software platforms
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead teams and manage budgets
- Excellent problemsolving abilities and innovative thinking
Responsibilities
- Deliver innovative automation solutions either independently or as a team leader
- Conceptualize detail and implement control systems for industrial processes and machinery
- Develop control system architecture and select components
- Program PLCs HMI and DCS/Delta V systems
- Design and implement industrial networking solutions
- Manage project plans budgets and reporting
- Oversee daily operations of projects up to $10M in value
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical/Control Engineering Mechanical Engineering Chemical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Over 8 years of relevant experience preferred
- Strong background in automation systems and project management
- Experience mentoring less experienced engineers
Education Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent experience

- Greater than 8 years of experience in automation engineering
