Temporary Fulltime opportunity(3year contract).
In the exciting role of Organisational Transformation Project Manager you will help deliver the biggest transformational change to the organisations Enterprise Resource Planning technology solutions that Penrith City Council has undergone internally in over 20 years.
This is a major transformational project that will see business processes improved and modernised with the assistance of a contemporary Enterprise Resource Planning system. Community Customer and Employee experience is at the heart of this change which will deliver an efficient effective and seamless end to end business process. The technology solution(s) chosen will enable Council to sustainably provide service delivery to the community now and into the future.
This is not only a software upgrade but a major process and cultural change project which will only succeed by putting our people first.
You will be supported by the Head of Business Excellence along with the ERP Project Control Group consisting of our Chief Information Officer Chief Financial Officer and the Project Sponsor Director Corporate Services. This project is classified as a Tier One project under Penrith City Councils Project Management Framework meaning visibility and reporting to the Executive Leadership Team on a monthly basis.
You will lead a team focused on the successful delivery of the project consisting of Change and Process specialists IT experts and subject matter experts throughout the business. Initially you will lead the tender process for the software platform while project planning and preparing the organisation for the change before diving into project delivery.

About you
You understand that project success is determined by bringing people onboard through an engaging change process. We are seeking an appropriately qualified enthusiastic peoplefocused project manager with a cando attitude who is conscientious and proactive in their approach to work. A proven trackrecord of delivering major projects is a must and significant experience in change management is crucial.
You love working with a wide variety of stakeholders and enjoy bringing them along the project journey. You can present complex and technical information in an easytounderstand format making it easier for Council Executive and Management teams and colleagues across the organisation to make informed decisions.
You are an effective communicator that builds rapport and negotiates winwin outcomes that supports you in establishing and maintaining strong connections with a wide range of stakeholders.
