Outwood Academy Hasland Hall is an 1116 academy based in the large friendly Derbyshire town of Chesterfield near Derby and Sheffield.

About the department:
We are looking to appoint a positive dynamic and well qualified female teacher to join a successful and thriving Physical Education Team.
The successful candidate will be committed to the development of creative and engaging teaching and learning which will instill in students a passion for health sports and fitness and change their lives through learning in Physical Education. The Physical Education department is well resourced and enjoys good facilities. The Department currently comprises 3 FT members and 1 PT member of staff.
The Department is very proud of their success in GCSE PE where results are very strong with 2024 progress figures of L49 88 and L59 being 74. Students enjoy a range of sporting enrichment activities and play fixtures against a number of local schools. There must be a willingness to contribute actively to the extracurricular programme and wider school initiatives is essential. Applications from Newly Qualified Teachers are welcome.
Outwood Academy Hasland Hall is a successful vibrant happy and oversubscribed school wherepupils have high aspirations and want to succeed in education. Leaders have established the right school climate for them to do so. Pupils learn in a calm and orderly environment OFSTED November 2023.
