Responsibilities

• Lead the overall planning and coordination of civil construction projects including budgeting scheduling and resource allocation
• Determine the resources needed (manpower equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
• Collaborate with engineers architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
• Monitor and enforce safety procedures and compliance with regulations and quality control standards
• Review and approve project documentation including contracts RFIs change orders and progress reports
• Plan all construction operations and scheduling intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
• Supervise the work of laborers mechanics etc. and provide guidance when needed
• Provide regular updates to senior management architects and owners on project status and progress
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report any issues

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in civil engineering Construction Management or related field
• Proven experience managing largescale civil projects
• Must be able to read blueprints
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus
