Job Description
Were partnering with a civil construction firm to conduct a search for an experienced Project Engineer. If you have experience supporting construction projects and want to grow your career into Project Management or Estimating this could be a great opportunity.
Position Details:
Title: Project Engineer
Location: Saratoga NY office with regional project site visits (occasional overnight travel may be required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Project Managers and Estimators through all phases of projects from preconstruction to closeout
- Assist with project bidding subcontractor scoping quantity takeoffs and estimating activities
- Coordinate communications between owners contractors and subcontractors
- Implement and maintain project control systems document management and reporting
- Track project milestones status updates and assist with scheduling
- Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with safety staffing and equipment requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or related field
- Experience as a Project Engineer Project Coordinator or Junior Project Manager
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
- Eagerness to grow into Project Management or Estimating roles
Compensation and Benefits:
Base Salary: $75000$90000 range
