As a Family Practice Physician you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages. This includes diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute and chronic conditions promoting health and wellness and managing preventive care for individuals and families.
Key responsibilities:
Conducting thorough medical evaluations including physical exams medical history reviews and diagnostic tests
Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions such as infections injuries and chronic diseases
Prescribing medications and other treatments as needed
Providing counseling and education to patients on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients
Maintaining accurate and uptodate medical records
Participating in quality improvement initiatives and staying current on medical advancements and best practices
Qualifications:
Medical degree from an accredited medical school
Board certification in Family Medicine
Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Georgia
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a primary care setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
