Job Description
Asa Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ER Nurse will provide highquality veterancentered care in a fastpaced emergency setting. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment emotional resilience and a commitment to serving our nations veterans with dignity and respect.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct and individualized nursing care to veterans in the Emergency Department.

Triage patients based on acuity and initiate lifesaving interventions as needed.

Administer medications treatments and procedures in accordance with VA protocols and physician orders.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop implement and evaluate care plans.

Document all care and patient responses accurately and promptly in the electronic health record (EHR).

Assist with diagnostic procedures and coordinate with ancillary departments (e.g. radiology laboratory).

Educate patients and families regarding treatments medications and discharge instructions.

Maintain a clean and safe environment consistent with infection control and safety policies.

Respond effectively in crisis situations including code blue trauma and disaster events.
