Job Description
Title: Enterprise Applications Associate
Institution:Volunteer State Community College
Job Summary:
Assist in the programming and administrative support for processes of the application systems of the college to allow users to complete their work in a timely and efficient manner.
Job Duties:
Assist the Enterprise Applications team in designing writing modifying and/or implementing inhouse and vendorsupplied application systems and programs using standard programming query and scripting languages. Develop understandable and detailed procedure documentation. Assist the Enterprise Applications team in analyzing and determining the feasibility of programming requests and making appropriate recommendations. Independently research solutions to processes procedures programming issues and problems and develop programs and scripts needed by the Information Technology Department and the college. Assist in the Administration of ERP and integrated 3rd party systems in an Ellucian Banner environment. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent and two years of related experience including relational database programming experience using SQL PL/SQL and/or ProC OR Associates degree in an information systems related discipline with experience working in an enterprise IT environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in relational database programming using other objectoriented based programming languages.
Experience in developing dynamic web applications using languages such as HTML or PHP.
Experience working in an enterprise IT environment preferably in a higher education environment.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Experience with Microsoft applications (Word and Excel).
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
Ability to manage several tasks at one time prioritize and react appropriately to emergency situations.
Strong verbal written and interpersonal communication skills in order to communicate effectively and work with a variety of computer users at different levels of expertise.
Pay Rate: $38206 $45847 annual salary depending on experience
