Key responsibilities
Meal preparation and service: With guidance and instruction from the Caf Manager Caf Team Members prepare beverages and food according to the planned menu and provide service to customers.
Set up and clean up: With a keen eye for neatness and hygiene Team Members assist with initial set up clearing of tables pack up wash up and waste disposal.
Manage stocks and storage: Applying high regard for food safety standards Team Members assist with ensuring food stocks are replenished and within use by dates and all food items are stored and labelled correctly.
Qualifications and skills (desired/required)
Experience in food preparation handling and service
Relevant food handling qualifications as required by local council authorities

Background checks play an important part in our commitment to being a safe organisation. Where an applicant has disclosable history the selection process includes a fair assessment and a risk management approach. This role will give volunteers an opportunity to develop skills and build experience in customer service food preparation and handling.
