About CAL Ranch Stores:
CAL Ranch Stores was founded in 1959 in Idaho Falls ID by Clinton Allen and L. Wayne Murphy. The family used their initials CAL to create their brand. Our first store located in Idaho Falls ID was called CAL Ranch & Farm Supply. The store had less than 3000 square feet and the primary products sold were tillage tools and hardware. After 60 years of successful retail business CAL Ranch Stores has grown from a single store operator to a regional retailer with multiple stores in Idaho Utah Nevada and Arizona. While CAL Ranch Stores is no longer owned by the Murphys it is still privately held and the current owners continue to operate the company with the same fundamental mission and value system.

What youll do:
As a sales associate in Animal Health Apparel Sporting Goods or Hardlines you are responsible for delivering legendary service to our customers and selling our wide range of CAL Ranch products and brands. It is the goal of everyone here at CAL Ranch Stores to seek continual improvement in all that we do.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers on the sales floor in a friendly and enthusiastic manner and determine the make type and quality of merchandise desired.
- Display merchandise suggest selections that meet customer needs and emphasize selling points of our products such as quality and utility.
- Keep shelves stocked merchandised tagged and signed with appropriate pricing.
- Help at cash wrap or in other departments when needed.
- Offer and sell promotional items and our CAL Ranch credit card.
- Maintains a clean neat and organized work area.
- Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Qualifications:
- CAL Ranch Stores sells a variety of items of various sizes and weights. Sales Floor Associates are required to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally engaging in assisted lifting over 50 pounds. Any lifting over 50 pounds requires the help of a hand truck and assistance from a second employee.
- Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and engaging manner.
- Ability to learn and use Point of Sale (POS) computer operating system.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
