Job Description
Red Arch Solutions is looking for a missiondriven Principal Software Engineer with deep expertise in DevOps and AWS Cloud technologies to join a highpriority contract in Annapolis Junction Maryland. An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
As a Principal SWE you will lead the development and enhancement of complex distributed systems based on welldefined requirementsleveraging cuttingedge AWS services Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and modern DevOps pipelines. Youll work across the full software lifecycle and collaborate closely with a team of toptier engineers and system architects to build scalable secure and resilient systems. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact by designing developing and deploying advanced cloudnative solutions that support critical national security initiatives.If youre a software engineer who enjoys solving hard problems with cloudbased solutions this is your opportunity to grow within a technically challenging and rewarding environment.
This position has the potential to includeTELEWORKup to 2 days per week dependent on tasking.
Basic Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university plus twenty 20 years of experience as an SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity.
- Some experience in SE skills (requirements decomposition)
- Terraform as Infrastructure as Code (IoC)
- Lambda Functions utilizing Python 3.11
- AWS RDS Aurora PostgreSQL Database
- Poetry for python dependency mgmt
- Docker containers
- Pgadmin to facilitate the database mgmt
- SE3 with presigned URLs
- SQS
- SNS
- MakeFile
- API Gateway with Lambda Authorizer
- Step Functions DynamoDB as a user cache
- Cloudwatch
- Salary range for this position: $#CJ
