Framestores 2025 Launchpad Internship offers talented and creative individuals a chance to gain handson experience at one of Europes leading creative studios. Interns will learn through studio work presentations a personal project and informal meetups while collaborating on real projects with experienced artists and technologists. Previous interns have contributed to shows like Tom & Jerry His Dark Materials and Fantastic Beasts.

Working within the PreProduction Services team as a Previs Artist youll help design previsualised shots and sequences working with the creative direction of the Visualisation Supervisor to define the shot composition staging lighting and camera language including movement lens choices and framing. Our Previs Artists skill sets are varied but are seen as the inhouse cinematographers and 3D storyboarders visualising the Directors initial edit that will go on to inform the and postproduction VFX lifecycle.

Job requirements

Strong sense of cinematic composition and lighting.

Character animation (timing and performance).

Camera animation.

Knowledge of cinematic language and technical terminology.

Able to take and interpret creative direction.

Can translate CG cameras and animation to apply to reallife situations.

Eligibility Criteria:

You must be entering the final year of your degree or have graduated in the past 12 months
You must be a UK resident or have a current resident student or graduate VISA for the duration of the internship
You must be available from 7th July 29th August 2025
