Our FSEs provide troubleshooting repair services and scheduled preventive maintenance for Omnicells pharmacy and supply automation solutions at customer sites. Field Service Engineer Level I Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
oProvide moderatelevel onsite troubleshooting preventive maintenance and emergency maintenance of Omnicells electromechanical solutions.
oRegularly communicate with managerlevel nursing and pharmacy staff and work on problems of moderate scope.
Basic Qualifications:
oBachelors Degree in Engineering/Technology or related discipline; or
oAssociates Degree/Trade School Certification/Military Training in an Engineering/Technology related discipline; or five years equivalent experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic mechanical or computer devices.
Preferred Qualifications:
oBachelors Degree in Engineering/Technology or related discipline and experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic mechanical or computer devices.
oCoursework in Network Engineering Robotics or Electronics.
oExperience working in a hospital environment.
Field Service Engineer Level II Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
oIndependently perform onsite troubleshooting preventive maintenance and emergency maintenance of Omnicells electromechanical and automation solutions.
oRegularly communicate with directorlevel nursing and pharmacy staff and tackle problems of advanced scope.
oProvide coaching and mentoring as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
oBachelors Degree in Engineering/Technology or a related discipline AND one year of relevant experience; OR
oAssociates Degree/Trade School Certification/Military Training in an Engineering/Technology related discipline AND four years of relevant experience; OR seven years equivalent experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic mechanical or computer devices.
Preferred Qualifications:
oBachelors Degree in Engineering/Technology or related discipline and one year experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic mechanical or computer devices.
oCoursework in Network Engineering Robotics or Electronics.
oExperience working in a hospital environment.
oKnowledge of FDA regulations for medical devices and Quality Management Systems.
Shared Responsibilities for both Levels:
Thoroughly document all service events according to Omnicells policies and procedures.
Meet company guidelines for response time and service levels.
Escalate product bugs malfunctions and design issues through support channels.
Participate in various staff meetings.
Maintain service quality and customer satisfaction.
Manage parts inventory and return materials process.
Work Conditions for both Levels:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. to approximately 5 ft. high.
Available 24 hours a day Monday through Friday and for weekend oncall rotations.
Frequent local travel in the primary area.
Backup support in adjacent areas as needed.
Provide work area at home and space for trunk stock inventory.
Note: The selected individual must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record be able to meet Omnicells insurance coverage requirements and have their own vehicle in acceptable working condition.

Compensation:
The budgeted Salary for this position in this region will be between $3345 per hour depending on the level hired on. Final offers may vary based on experience skills and education.
