Job Description
Position: Director of Surgical Services
Location: Redbank NJ
Duration: Fulltime
Salary: DOE
This role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced leader to oversee and enhance perioperative services. The Director of Perioperative Services will be responsible for strategic planning budget management operational oversight and quality assurance across surgical and procedural care areas. These areas include the Operating Room (OR) SameDay Surgery (SDS) PostAnesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Endoscopy PreAdmission Testing (PAT) and Sterile Processing. The position plays a critical role in ensuring patient safety satisfaction and compliance with regulatory standards while promoting collaboration across departments and with the medical staff.
Experience:
At least five years of progressively responsible management experience in perioperative services.
A minimum of two years of progressive experience in healthcare administration with increasing administrative responsibilities.
RN experience in scrubbing/circulating is preferred.
Must live within a 30minute radius for oncall availability.
Proven expertise in staffing budgeting and financial management.
Qualifications
Education: A Bachelors degree in Nursing and a Masters degree in Nursing Healthcare Administration Business or a related field are both required.
Licensure & Certification: An active RN license is required. CNOR certification is required or must be obtained within six months of hire
Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Strong analytical communication and organizational skills
