Job Description
Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Huntsville AL
Schedule: Monday Friday 2:00 PM 10:30 PM (Afternoon Shift)
Hourly Rate: Starting at $26.00/hour $1.50 shift differential 3:00 PM 11:00 PM)
Position Overview
The Radiologic Technologist will provide mobile Xray and EKG services across various care settings including skilled nursing facilities prisons jails and home health locations. This position offers autonomy variety and the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and process Xrays using portable digital (DR) or computed radiography (CR) equipment
- Submit or transmit diagnosticquality images to Radiologists for interpretation
- Perform EKGs and submit them for Cardiologist interpretation (as needed)
- Unload set up and maintain portable imaging equipment at client sites
- Scan and submit examrelated paperwork and billing documents daily
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch management peers and facility staff
- Uphold high standards of medical ethics patient confidentiality and infection control
- Maintain vehicle and imaging equipment in clean working condition
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT certification preferred
- State licensure (if required) reimbursement offered after 90 days of employment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
