Job Description
- Collaborate closely with development trading and operations teams to design and implement deployment strategies for applications on AWS
- Drive the adoption of CI/CD practices to automate and streamline the software delivery process
- Develop and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure the health performance and availability of cloudbased applications
- Work alongside developers to enhance application scalability reliability and security in cloud environments
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for technical issues related to deployments and infrastructure
- Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve the efficiency of DevOps processes
- Act as a liaison between development trading and operations teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration
Requirements:
- Extensive experience with AWS services and infrastructure including EC2 S3 VPC and related components
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python Bash or similar for automation and scripting tasks
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and experience implementing pipelines using tools like Jenkins GitLab CI or similar
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and experience with deployment automation tools such as Terraform CloudFormation or CDK (Cloud Development Kit)
- Handson experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Linux networking stack at the kernel level and optimization and performance considerations
- Familiarity with synchronization of system clocks using protocols like NTP and PTP for precise timing measurements
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments
