Who you are:
We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Software Developer Intern who will help build our Altitude suite of products. If you love technology and are keen to join an industry leader we would love to hear from you!
What youll do:
As a Software Developer Intern your key area of responsibility will be adding functionality and features on the frontend to our customer facing website. You will need to work closely with Product UX and other developers.
The opportunity
- 812 month workterm beginning September 2025.
- Fulltime paid internship: Monday Friday37.5hrs/week.

How youll make an impact
- Define design and implement new software applications in collaboration with other members of the development and technical teams based on industry standards and best practices.
- Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
- Perform TestDriven and SecurityDriven Development.
- Conduct comprehensive code reviews and ensure that coding standards are followed.
- Help maintain code quality organization and automation.
- Perform maintenance programming for existing applications.
- Consider the functionality performance scalability reliability realistic implementation schedules and system architecture for each assignment.
- Provide recommendations for improvements in the overall development process.
What youll bring to the role
- Working towards a Diploma/Degree specialization in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
- Experience programming with React JavaScript CSS and HTML.
- Experience in Python TypeScript ES6 Vite GO Google Compute Engine Google BigQuery are an asset.
- Working knowledge of Cloud computing experience is an asset.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Able to work well under pressure and respond to fast changing priorities and deadlines.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to problemsolve to welljudged decisions.
- A strong teamplayer with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
- Technical competence using software programs including but not limited to Google Suite for business (Sheets Docs Slides).
