Were hiring a Technical Recruiter on an initial 6 month fixed term contract basis. You will join our inhouse Talent team of 3 and own our technical hiring across Software Engineering Product Data and Design though majority of your hiring will be within engineering. Our Technical stack is React TypeScript GraphQL and Python.

You will partner closely with our new Head of Engineering who has just joined and will be ramping up the capacity of existing teams as well looking at the structure of our technical organisation.

We share ideas and look to continually evolve the way we do things to improve candidate experience and help our hiring managers hire amazing people. Were super passionate about attracting amazing talent to join us on our exciting journey of decarbonising the planet and fighting climate change.

This role is well suited to someone who can either start immediately or in 1 month max.

What youll do:

    • Source screen and progress candidates through the interview pipelines hiring London based or UK remote software engineers (full stack backend and frontend)
    • Build proactive sourcing strategies for strategic technical roles be innovative with sourcing techniques to identify passive candidates e.g. networking events etc.
    • Partnering closely with stakeholders to provide an executive search experience
    • Build great relationships with candidates with a view of short and long term hires
    • Constantly provide an amazing candidate experience and look to always improve this across the team
    • Work collaboratively across the wider recruitment team
    • Take a consultative approach to recruitment focusing on speed quality and diversity

To succeed in this role you need to have:

    • Minimum 2 years in an inhouse technical recruiting role in a high bar environment. We dont use agencies so candidates will come from sourcing and applications
    • Experience hiring software engineers in London you are familiar with the best tech houses and have a good candidate network
    • Super organisation skills and an ability to prioritise
    • You love to work with all kinds of people youve got no functional shoulder pads its not my team versus other teams its were all working together to change the energy system globally and Ill lend anyone a hand
    • Youll need to interview candidates so previous experience screening and assessing candidates across a variety of roles for both hard skills and cultural qualitiesis needed
