JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Department of Statistics at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar position in the research group of Dr. Xiaoyue (Maggie) Niu. Potential research projects include (but are not limited to) work on methods and theories in statistical network modeling with applications in health and social science data. The scholar will have an opportunity to collaborate with other researchers and mentor graduate and undergraduate students and may also teach one course per year for the Department of Statistics.
Education and Experience
A Ph.D. in Statistics Biostatistics Machine Learning or a directly related field at the time of appointment is successful applicants will be expected to have a solid statistical background research experiences showing independence and innovation and demonstrated academic writing skills.
