We are seeking a Host to join our team! Our hosts are an integral part of our team and responsible for launching an amazing guest experience. This role will be primarily evening focused between the hours of 5pm and 9pm. Summary of Position A Food Runner is responsible for providing legendary hospitality and service to all Guests in all areas of the restaurant at all times. This position is primarily responsible for running food from the kitchen restocking the line with clean plates notifying servers when dishes are ready and providing general support to the CDC and the kitchen line. The Food Runner also has general utility and maintenance responsibilities and other duties as assigned by the Manager on Duty. The Food Runner must be a team player helping wherever and whenever needed to ensure that all Guests receive legendary hospitality. Finally the Food Runner is required to maintain a positive respectful and courteous attitude towards all Guests team members and Managers at all times. Duties & Responsibilities - Properly serve Guest tables food items to their proper seat number
- Develop a good understanding of all menu items including daily specials improve that knowledge whenever possible and strive to share that knowledge as required by the Guest.
- Run food for Teammates.
- Ensure that all Guests feel welcome and are given responsive friendly and courteous service at all times.
- Remove used utensils plates and glassware between courses and provide replacements if needed by the guest.
- Take used items to the dishwashing area and place utensils dishes and glassware in the appropriate areas.
- Maintain Guest tables by removing trash paper or any used or unneeded items at all times.
- Properly and quickly clean and reset any items that are needed for the kitchen line.
- Check and clean the floor as needed.
- Inspect and clean assigned restroom every 30 minutes.
- Communicate effectively with the FOH Team to assure efficient seating table utilization and Guest Service
- Assist Bartenders with drink running as needed.
- Provide warm friendly and efficient service and hospitality so that we are sure that the Guest will return.
- Maintain a clean Dining Room and Restroom to support efficient service and excellent Guest perception of MADE
- Clock in and out accurately according to your posted schedule.
- Carry stack store and clean plates glassware and utensils properly. Avoid unnecessary breakage and do not carelessly throw small wares in the trash.
- Maintain a clean floor and address spills immediately.
- Contribute to a positive productive working environment for all team members at all times by maintaining a happy professional attitude while at work.
- Demonstrate respect and courtesy towards all FOH BOH and Manager teammates.
Qualifications: - No previous restaurant experience required.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Must be able to work effectively in a fastpaced setting while walking or standing.
- Must be able to carry 23 plates trays of 46 drinks or bussing trays safely.
- Must be 18 years of age.
