This position leads a team of seasoned insights professionals and drives the research learning agenda for the entire TMUS enterprise supporting senior leaders across all lines of business (postpaid prepaid home internet B2B etc. and functional domains (product channels marketing etc.. This role is also crucial in setting our research innovation vision and plans spearheading the adoption of new technologies and digital tools to drive speed efficiencies and insights dissemenation across the company. They will serve as an expert in consumer and marketing insights with a strong grasp of marketing strategy and product applications (ensuring the insights are highimpact for our partner teams). They will also be an insights thought leader fluidly leveraging research expertise across a broad and deep array of methodologies while also bringing new techniques to the forefront. Critical to this individuals success will be the ability to effectively lead within and outside of their organization inspiring the insights organization and stakeholder partner teams while also driving efficient and highly effective vendor relationships. This team is responsible for being the voice of the customer for inspiring the organization through competitive / outsideofcategory insights and to deeply internalize our stakeholders business needs to design our insights learning agenda and proactively supply insights that address them.TMUS is enjoying three days a week in office collaboration!
Job Responsibilities:
- Combine industry dynamics business performance and market research to develop hypotheses on future market dynamics a strategic point of view to drive decisionmaking.
- Deliver insights to executive leadership to prepare for external and internal communications including the Board of Directors meetings Analyst presentations and Earnings materials.
- Oversee our portfolio of competitive intelligence and secondary research sources to ensure a comprehensive view of market intelligence and dynamics.
- Conduct deep analyses of competitor offerings and strategies to maintain a strong understanding of their pricing products channels and brand positioning.
- Lead a team of insights professionals spanning several areas of focus including wireless broadband and video. Develop and coach CI professionals to ensure each member acquires appropriate skills and projectbased experiences to foster ongoing professional development.
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Market Research Psychology Marketing or equivalent required; Masters/Advanced Degree preferred
- More than 10 years competitive or market research experience including using syndicated research in an analyst planning or product management function with demonstrated ability to research specific topics and deliver insights that answer or address specific business or customer questions
- 10 years experience partnering with internal team members (including senior management) and outside vendors in understanding needs and driving knowledge/insights through the organization
- Ability to independently produce executive communications at a high level and utilize storytelling to portray the wellrounded view of research findings and implications and implement modify or reject strategies
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Strong business acumen with strategic thinking and a natural curiosity to delve further
- Ability to strongly and consultatively communicate research insights and implications to influence and drive business decisionmaking
- Passion for synthesizing market intelligence to construct a strategic vision of the future
- Strong financial and analytical skills to enable solid business judgement
- Ability to communicate effectively across team and organizational boundaries to drive and develop consensus
- Collaborative yet influential
- Flexible selfstarter and comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects; detail oriented and organized

Base Pay Range: $176000 $238200Corporate Bonus Target: 25
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidates actual pay will be based on various factors such as qualifications and experience so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a yearend bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employees eligible earnings in the prior year.
