The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotels employment policies and practices including hiring firing discipline staffing compensation benefits and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International Inc.
Main Responsibilities
Responsible for the activation of the different outlets of the hotel.
Staffing planning for the various hotel services.
Staying up to date with the latest gastronomic trends.
Use and maintenance of the F&B management system.
Participation in the development of the gastronomic offering aligned with the companys F&B strategy.
Achievement of the goals set by the company: Service and Quality.
Previous experience in fine dining restaurants and 5star hotels will be positively valued.
High proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
The Service
Coordinate the frontofhouse team during different service periods. Responsible for presenting the offering making suggestions and clarifying any customer doubts regarding the menu. Maintain communication with the kitchen regarding the menu wait times dish repreparation needs and product availability. Follow the service schedule for all meals. Serve food and beverages to guests in the various hotel outlets. Keep work areas clean throughout the day. Communicate any special kitchen requirements (allergies diets special requests). Inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all dishes trays glasses cups and cutlery before use. Monitor and maintain order and cleanliness at all occupied tables including clearing dishes and cleaning table linens.
Team Management
Maintain communication with team members and other employees. Ensure staff works as a cohesive team to deliver optimal service. Collaborate with management on hiring training planning evaluating coaching supervising and motivating staff acting as a role model.
Proven experience in managing highend rooftop bars lounges or restaurants preferably in luxury hotel environments.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate train and lead a diverse team in a fastpaced servicedriven atmosphere.
Excellent customer service orientation with a proactive attitude towards guest satisfaction and complaint resolution.
Solid knowledge of premium beverages and modern mixology as well as current food & beverage trends.
Ability to manage operations during peak hours including events and private functions ensuring high standards of service and guest experience.
Experience in staff scheduling inventory control and cost management within the F&B department.
Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of additional languages (especially Spanish or French) is highly valued.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional appearance and demeanor.
