Are you excited about developing foundation models to revolutionize automation robotics and computer vision Are you looking for opportunities to build and deploy them on real problems at truly vast scale At Amazon Fulfillment Technologies and Robotics we are on a mission to build highperformance autonomous systems that perceive and act to further improve our worldclass customer experience at Amazon scale. We are looking for collaborative scientists engineers and program managers for a variety of roles.
The Amazon Robotics software team is seeking an experienced and senior Applied Scientist to focus on computer vision machine learning models. This includes building multiviewpoint and timeseries computer vision systems. It includes building largescale models using data from many different tasks and scenes. This work spans from basic research such as cross domain training to experimenting on prototype in the lab to running widescale A/B tests on robots in our facilities.

* Production studies Insights from production data or adhoc experimentation.

3 years of building models for business application experience
PhD or Masters degree and 4 years of CS CE ML or related field experience
Experience in patents or publications at toptier peerreviewed conferences or journals
Experience programming in Java C Python or related language
Experience in any of the following areas: algorithms and data structures parsing numerical optimization data mining parallel and distributed computing highperformance computing
Experience using Unix/Linux
Experience in professional software development

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $222200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
