Job Description
The UPS Store of Alamo Heights is a locally owned business and looking to grow our team with a new Full Time Center Associate. Do you like having your evenings free Do you like working with a tightknit group of hardworking individuals Do you like a dynamic and fast paced environment If yes then The UPS Store of Alamo Heights might be the right fit for you! The Center Associate delivers worldclass customer service through processing packing and shipping services mail and package receiving printing solutions product return programs and providing many other offered services and solutions.
The ideal candidate has previous retail sales experience strong computer skills works well in a team has a friendly and helpful demeanor is solution focused and has effective verbal and written communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Delivers outstanding customer service to all walkin customers and telephone inquiries
- Effectively performs all duties related to opening and closingthe store
- Takes action to learn all product and service offerings including but not limited to shredding scanning notaries printing faxing laminating and so much more!
- Operates all equipment software and devices in an expert fashion
- Maintains a clean organized and safe working environment
- Attends monthly staff meeting
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
- Eligibleto become a notary
- Effectiveverbal and written communication skills
- Prompt reliable and responsible
- Able to lift 40 pounds unassisted
- Comfortableworking a dynamic environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize appropriately
- Previous POS/cash handling experience preferred

COMPENSATION
- $13.00 $14.50 per hour based on experience
- Clear path provided to earn an additional $1.50/hour within 90 days of employment.
