Job title: New Business Account Executive Commercial

Salary: 50000

Location: Full time Combination of officebased and homebased work (flexibility to be discussed)

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and driven New Business Account Executive to join our clients Commercial Team. The primary focus of this role is to expand our commercial department by acquiring new business and nurturing existing client relationships. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving revenue through organic growth and external sales strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain new and renewal business driving revenue through organic and external sources.
  • Regular travel to various dealerships & clients would be expected
  • Identify commercial opportunities within our existing High Net Worth client base.
  • Collaborate with various departments and dealerships to increase referrals for commercial insurance.
  • Work closely with the Commercial Manager to ensure timely and accurate servicing review and sign off of policies endorsements audits and certificates.
  • Implement effective prospecting and lead generation strategies.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance laws and company policies in all sales activities.
  • Crosssell high net worth products to commercial clients such as Motor & Household insurance.

  • Strong analytical and organisational abilities

  • Good analytical skills and the capacity to assess clients insurance needs and recommend suitable products.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities effectively.
  • Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a client team.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in insurance sales or a related field with a background in customer service or client management.
  • 70 motor trade and motor fleet experience and 30 commercial combined.
  • Acturis knowledge preferred but not essential
