Join Chess at Three Inspiring Young Minds Through Storytelling in the Bay Area!
About Us:
Are you a creative storyteller performer or educator with a passion for making a difference in childrens lives Chess at Three teaches kids as young as 3 years old to play chess through engaging and silly storiesno chess expertise required!
Were expanding to the Bay Area focusing on San Francisco Palo Alto Menlo Park Los Altos Mountain View Sunnyvale and surrounding areas and were seeking dynamic individuals to join our team.
About the Opportunity:
As a Chess at Three storyteller/teacher youll bring our fun storybased chess curriculum to life for kids in their homes and schools. We provide all the materials and training you needif you can tell a story you can teach chess!
Position Highlights:
- Hourly Rate: $50/hour
- Flexibility: Set your own schedule with afterschool weekday and weekend opportunities.
- Independent Contractor: Work parttime and grow with us.
What Were Looking For:
- Animated fun and passionate individuals with experience working with children.
- A heart for hospitality and a knack for building relationships with kids and their families.
- Organized entrepreneurial and proactive about seeking teaching opportunities in local communities.
- Experience in performing arts teaching or early childhood education is a big plus.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Familiarity with chess is helpful but not required.
- Must pass a background check.
- Reliable and communicative with families and our team in Brooklyn.
