Job Description

The Global Corporate Employee Relations (GCER) team at Amazon is seeking an exceptionally talented customer obsessed resourceful and selfmotivated Executive Assistant to support two HR Directors. In this role youll have the opportunity to act as an extension of our leaders in partnership with a supportive and collaborative EA community. This is a critical role on the team and the successful candidate will have a good sense of humor a cando attitude and will help build a positive team environment.

This individual will be a trusted partner and resource for our team leader and the senior leadership team supporting a wide array of projects strategic initiatives and tactical mechanisms. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is important. To be successful in this role you are an organized selfstarter with high judgement critical thinking skills meticulous attention to detail and exceptional problemsolving skills. You possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with minimal guidance react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround and take effective action without having to know the total picture.

The central objective of the Global Corporate Employee Relations at Amazon team is to ensure our organizations treatment of every employee is fair respectful and consistent with our core business values policies and objectives as we Strive to be Earths Best Employer. The position provides lead EA support for and reports directly to the Director Global Corporate Employee Relations GCER while also supporting the Director GCERAWS. The individual must be based in Seattle Washington where both Directors are also located. This is a fulltime position that could require very limited travel 5 of the time over the course of the year.


Key job responsibilities
Complex calendar management
Coordinating agendas
Coordinating travel and expenses
Organizing team activities and events (such as off sites allteam meetings and employee engagement activities)
Space planning
Tracking key deliverables
Ad hoc project coordination
Working independently with initiative and natural curiosity of how things work
Establishing productive partnerships and collaborating successfully on a broad spectrum of issues

5 years of senior level leadership support experience
Experience with executive level calendar management
Experience with domestic or international travel coordination
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently
Technically proficient in Microsoft Office Suite systems with advanced knowledge of Outlook
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience handling administrative details independently while exercising good judgment in keeping team members adequately informed

7 years of senior level leadership support experience
Experience in a fastpaced hightech company
Experience working in a global role with stakeholders from multiple regions
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with extreme discretion and decorum
Experience with work space planning/management

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
