Job Description
Sidwell Friends School a coeducational Quaker day school seeks qualified per diem substitute teachers for all subjects in grades PK 4. Applicants must have a relevant college degree some experience working with children and certified in CPR/First Aid.
The most desirable candidates will also be able to demonstrate proficiency using digital and online platforms for remote instruction as well as proven effectiveness as a classroom teacher in a brickandmortar setting.
School hours are 8:00am 4:00pm.
Because of the nature of a school environment there may not be substitution possibilities every day.
Teaching positions at Sidwell Friends School are campusbased; therefore this position requires teaching in person. Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification is required; however if you are not CPR/AED certified you will have the opportunity to complete the course upon hire.
