Title: Diesel Adjunct Instructor
Salary Range: $750/credit hour
Contract Term Length:Not Applicable
Standard Hours:Generally 3.5 hours a day or evening Monday through Thursday
Work Location:OnSite

Job Summary
Gateway Community & Technical College invites applications for a Diesel Adjunct Instructor. The parttime Instructor must be committed to providing quality instruction to students of various ages and backgrounds while meeting the program objectives. They must enjoy working with students both in and out of the classroom.
Job Duties:
- Provide instruction to students in both theory and practice.
- Maintenance and care of classrooms and training materials will also be expected.
- Keep abreast of changes in the respective field and help keep the program updated.
- Teach at various levels to help support the College.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- ASE Master Certified in Diesel.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Commitment to diversity equity and inclusion.
- Excellent organizational skills; high attention to detail; independent; selfmotivated; able to work in a fastpaced changing environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to communicate with many individuals at all levels throughout the internal college environment and external business and community partners representing himself/herself professionally and courteously.
- Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
- Ability to multitask work under deadlines and prioritize projects to meet deadlines with high levels of efficiency and accuracy.
- Must have proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word Excel and Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent
- 5 years experience
- Experience in and understanding of working with students from diverse populations is preferred.
- Experience working at the community college level is preferred.
