Job Title: Assistant Accountant
Description: We are hiring for our client one of Greater Belfasts leading employers who is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Accountant. The Role:
- Manage intercompany transactions across multiple entities
- Prepare VAT and Intrastat returns accurately and on time
- Support the finance team with monthend procedures and reconciliations
- Assist with financial reporting and analysis
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
The Person:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in an accounting role ideally with exposure to intercompany transactions
- Strong knowledge of VAT and Intrastat returns
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- A proactive and problemsolving mindset
- Experience with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Partqualified accountant or working towards a recognised accountancy qualification is desirable but not essential
