We are seeking an experienced and skilled .NET Software Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing testing and maintaining software applications using C#.NET Oracle SQL and related skillsets. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding and experience with software development and excellent problemsolving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain .NET applications.
- Performdefect triageprioritize categorize and assign bugs based on severity impact and business needs.
- Participate in oncall rotation.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and develop new features.
- Write clean scalable and efficient code.
- Troubleshoot debug enhance and upgrade existing software.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Lead and mentor an offshore development team ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Take ownership of projects from inception to deployment ensuring timely delivery and quality standards. Independently develops clean maintainable testable code for work assigned; performs peer code reviews.
- Ensure the best possible performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Embraces mentorship and training from senior engineers.
- Contributes to technical documentation specifications and project artifacts for developing code
Identifies potential standards and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a .NET or Application Developer.
- Strong knowledge of a .NET language (preferably C# Oracle SQL and JavaScript.
- Handson experience with web and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with the framework and design/architectural patterns (e.g. ModelViewController (MVC).
- Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST RPC).
- Experience with version control systems such as GIT.
- Excellent troubleshooting communication and collaboration skills.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a cohesive crossfunctional team.
- Problemsolving skills attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience in banking payments insurance with any experience inLockbox ImageScan Deluxe are a bonus.
Optional:
- Experience with cloud services (e.g. Azure Google).
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $100000 to $120000 annually depending on location and jobrelated factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for shortterm incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
