Job Summary:

The successful candidate for the Test Resource Management Center will be part of the KBR Cybersecurity team supporting the Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) Program Security Office. This member will provide comprehensive security guidance to the Program Security Office and Cybersecurity Team. This position is not remote and is in Alexandria VA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write Standard Security Operating Procedures (SOPs) security plans and other security documentation
  • In support of TRMC responsible for assisting the Program Security Officer in providing all aspects of security support services such as Personnel Security (PERSEC) Physical Security (PHYSEC) Security Education and Training (SETA) Access Control Media Control Construction Security Management.
  • Assist in administering the SAP Nomination Process by processing logging and preparing incoming and outgoing SAP Nomination packages
  • Assist in conducting annual SETA requirements in conjunction with the program off sites; provide security indoctrination debriefings pre/post Travel briefings and annual refresher briefings as necessary
  • Classified document control to include maintenance of logs tracking documents in transition
  • Investigate security violations and submit required reports to the government
  • Administrative Security functions such as organizing and filing all administrative program security paperwork
  • Assist the government with physical security and provide security escorting for uncleared personnel as required
  • Conduct selfinspections; manage preparations for and representation of security inspections and audits by government security personnel
  • Assist the Lead Program Security Officer with additional security support as required by the RMS Advanced Programs Manager and the local Customer
  • Must have a Subject Matter Expert (SME) level of understanding of industrial security regulations and procedures including experience administering provisions of the 32 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 117 NISPOM DOD 5205.07 Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manuals.
  • Must be teamoriented with a minimum of 5 years experience in SAP programs
  • Selfstarter with the ability to work independently as well as make significant contributions in a team environment
  • Proven track record of effective communication skills to include verbal and written; tact and diplomacy is key
  • Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance you must be a US Citizen for consideration Top Secret

  • System Integration:Integrate crossdomain solutions with existing systems applications and infrastructure.
  • Testing and Validation:Test and validate crossdomain solutions to ensure they meet requirements and function as expected.

Requirements:

  • Education:Bachelors degree in Computer Science Security Information Technology or related field with 5 years experience. Advanced degree: A masters degree or higher in a related field is preferred.
  • Successful completion of the CDSE SAP MidLevel Management Course is preferred or must be able to successfully complete within 1 year of employment.
