85 FTE day/evening shift. Operational hours of the Cath Lab/EP lab are 6:00am to 7:00pm. Oncall responsibilities for off hours weekends and holidays with a 30minute response time. We offer a competitive starting pay relevant work experience will be considered. Hours may vary depending on department need. You will work primarily at University Hospital in Madison WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse:
- Be an integral member of a talented multidisciplinary team working together to deliver quality care to primarily young adult to geriatric patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures and diagnostic cardiac catheterization in our cath lab at the University Hospital in Madison WI.
- Practice in an environment that focuses on patient and family centered care.
- Be highly engaged in acquiring new skills and integrating evidencebased nursing practices into the unit culture.
- Encouraged to participate in shared governance with a unitbased council to help support and drive quality improvement initiatives and lead practice change.

Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
Work Experience
- Inpatient Units and Central Float (Adult & Pediatric) Radiology Hemodialysis Cardiovascular Laboratory: Six 6 months nursing experience or current participant in UW Healths Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of the Nurse Residency Orientation on unit/similar unit Required
- Venous Access Team (VAT) & eICU: Two 2 years of nursing experience Required
- Relevant RN Experience Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact Required
- Current CPR/BLS Certification Required
- ACLS within 6 months Required
- PALS within 6 months Required
- Relevant Certification Preferred
