Position Purpose:The Payroll Accounting Associate is primarily responsible for one of the following functions: 1 Accounting maintaining/correcting payroll entries posted to the GL; 2 Direct Deposit: tracking outstanding checks maintaining accurate records for escheatments(3)Over payments; 4 Account Reconciliations and 5 Reporting 6 Invoice payment and other duties as required.
Key Responsibilities:- 20 Accounting maintaining/ correcting payroll entries posted to the GL; Complete journal and data entry
- 20 Direct Deposit setup and issue resolution
- 20 Research and analysis of overpayments for resolution
- 20 Metric Reporting
- 20 Account reconciliations/ Invoice payments
- Other duties as required
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:- Typically reports to a Payroll Supervisor
- No direct responsibility for supervising others.
Travel Requirements:- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10 of the time.
Physical Requirements:- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:- One to two years of work experience in payroll or accounting.
Minimum Education:- The knowledge skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
