Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE

The Key Account Manager Pharmacy reporting to the Trade Lead is responsible for managing retail chains by fostering close longterm relationships. This role ensures the implementation of sales policies within distribution channels to achieve Pfizers sales goals and maintain high product availability. The Key Account Manager is accountable for delivering results and shaping the future of the business.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure effective cooperation with retail chains through individual business plans

  • Achieve Pfizers sales budget

  • Actively and systematically monitor retail chain inventories in regions ensuring appropriate inventory levels

  • Implement supply policies

  • In cooperation with Trade Marketing prepare launch and implement product campaigns targeted at pharmacies

  • Collaborate directly with Pfizer colleagues (BUs REPs Marketing Call Centre) to implement distribution programs and product campaigns

  • Work closely with the Supply Chains Management Department on product deliveries and purchase target monitoring

  • Partner with Pfizer business associates providing technological solutions for pharmacy cooperation

  • Ensure compliance with local laws regulations and Pfizer policies.

EXPERIENCE SKILLS KNOWLEDGE

  • University degree

  • Experience in sales commercial negotiations and commercial program implementation preferably with retail chains

  • Ability to easily initiate contacts with others

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • High motivation to work within a team and with colleagues from other divisions

  • Proficiency in English

  • Task and targetoriented approach

  • Strong analytical skills in distribution program and inventory settlements

  • Proficiency in computer applications (MS Excel MS Office IMS)

  • Demonstration of Pfizer competencies.
