Saint Anthonys High School is seeking reliable and dedicated school bus drivers to support transportation needs for our international student dormitory. This is a rewarding opportunity to join a supportive community and help ensure students are safely transported to and from school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate school buses between Saint Anthonys High School (SAHS) and the student dormitory in Farmingdale.
- Complete core route:
- Morning Route:
- Pick up bus at St. Anthonys High School: 6:45 AM
- Pick up students at dorm: 7:15 AM
- Drop off at St. Anthonys High School: 7:45 AM
- Afternoon Run:
- Pick up students at St. Anthonys High School: 2:30 PM
- Drop students off at dorm: 3:00 PM
- Return bus to St. Anthonys High School: 3:30 PM
- Additional driving shifts available including late bus shifts and weekend trips
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for students during transportation
Compensation:
- $45 per route $90 per day for core route
- Saturday shifts: $150$300/day
- Late bus shifts 3PM 7PM): $200
- Monthly earning potential: $600$3000 depending on frequency of shifts
CDL Training & Incentives:
- CDL not required to apply training provided and paid
- $200 for permit class
- $1000 after passing permit test
- $2000 after passing road test and committing to 4 days/week
- Completion Bonus:
- $3200 for drivers who commit to 4 days/week throughout the school year
Qualifications:
- Must be dependable punctual and have a strong sense of responsibility
- Valid drivers license required
- Must have clean driving record and be able to pass background check
- No prior CDL experience necessary we will train you
