Join us as a Engineering Manager on our Software Engineering team in India to drive impactful initiatives and make a profound social impact.
What youll achieve
As an Engineering Manager you will lead and support software development scrum team with full stack development team focusing on both software applications (maintenance and enhancements) and if required the new product lines. Some of these applications / libraries are horizontal frameworks while others are vertical solutions. In this role youll work collaboratively with internal and external partners to design develop and advance the technology stack and drive the projects.
You will:
- Champion CrossFunctional Initiatives: Partner closely with leaders across Platform Experience Applications and PM org to align and execute on strategic initiatives that enhance our platform capabilities and deliver a seamless and cohesive experience for our users.
- Establish Collaborative Goals: Set aligned goals and expectations in your team and ensure they support company policies standards and overall objectives.
- Coach and Mentor: Guide team members in their career growth helping them identify and leverage opportunities for development.
- Coordinate Development & Release Activities: Plan prioritize and coordinate activities (including agile processes and scrum ceremonies) working with Support Customer Success and Product to deliver a consistent and integrated customer experience.
- Drive Progress and Adaptability: Track progress proactively identify challenges and adjust plans based on engineering metrics and actionable insights to achieve desired outcomes.
- Foster a Collaborative Environment: Create a work environment that enables teams to work cohesively and crossfunctionally while supporting a healthy worklife balance.
- Be Accountable for Outcomes: Take ownership of outcomes (measured via engineering and customer metrics) and culture across multiple teams advocating for technical excellence in areas like Observability Scalability and Stability.
- Support Technical Foundations: Maintain a foundational understanding of the technical architecture within your domain area to make informed decisions and support crossfunctional initiatives.
- Talent Hiring: Contribute to the hiring process for respective domains and engineering as and when required.

Essential Requirements
- Experience mentoring team members and people leaders in their professional growth
- Proven experience in managing crossfunctional multiteam initiatives with agile and lean development practices
- Strong advocate for leveraging common frameworks test automation CI/CD and DevOps principles as part of the teams deliverables
- Background in developing and maintaining largescale software systems in production
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating within and across teams
Desirable Requirements
- 6 years experience in software development
- 4 years experience in people leadership
- Familiarity with organizational change management approaches
- Proficiency in building and managing web UI applications using modern frameworks (e.g. React Angular)
- Experience implementing modern development practices
- Nice to Have: SaaS experience and familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g. AWS)
