What Makes This Role Different
Youll be the clinical lead for our Intake space a vital function that ensures people in crisis receive timely coordinated support. Youll work closely with the Team Leader guiding the Registered Nurses who are the first point of contact for referrals into within and out of the service.

This role spans across the NENW region using a hybrid model of care that includes facetoface telehealth and video conferencing bringing acute mental health support to communities wherever they are.

Youll play a key role in:

  • Supporting and guiding the team through complex presentations
  • Consolidating intake processes across multiple sites
  • Strengthening consistency and service delivery during a period of restructuring
  • Mentoring and growing junior clinicians
  • Leading innovation in how care is delivered across towns with varying resources

Location Flexibility
While the position is based at Tamworth Community Health Service we understand the importance of flexibility. Site location can be negotiated for the right candidate across our NENW Mental Health Services sites.
