Job Duties
This Environmental Services Department provide an effective and efficient Housekeeping and Apparel Services program to insure a clean safe pleasant and functional environment for both the hospital population and staff. Maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility and providing clean linen/apparel is an integral part of providing quality patient care.
Must be able to work every other Saturday and Sunday and have Skills/Experience in Housekeeping or Laundry.
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to read comprehend and carryout written and verbal instructions.
Capacity to learn and perform cleaning and sanitation procedures in a safe and
efficient manner.
Ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks which may require physical demands
such as lifting bending stooping stretching pulling pushing climbing etc.
Ability to operate commercial washer and dryer
Ability to sort and transport linen
Ability to work in a secure locked environment
Must be at least 18 years or older
Additional Considerations
Previous cleaning or laundry experience in a healthcare institutional setting.
