The awardwinningHilton ColumbusDowntown is looking for a FullTime Barista / Market Attendant to join their team!
Nestled in the heart of the Short North Arts District connected to the Greater Columbus Convention Center our hotel boasts two towers with 1000 guest rooms 75000 square feet of event space and several unique dining experiences.
Integrated within Hilton Columbus Downtown part of our new second tower expansion.
TheMarket isa grab & go option located in the lobby of the tower 402 and directly connected to the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
This fresh & approachable concept offers sandwiches salads snacks sundries & more to hotel and convention guests position will oversee all production for Market Supply Co. Provisions on High and InRoom Dining.

The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience in customer facing positions
- Have previous barista experience
- Have a natural approach to hospitality

What will I be doing
As a Barista/Market Attendant you would be responsible for greeting and serving guests beverages and/or food in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Greet guests and respond to guest requests in a timely friendly and efficient manner
- Brew sell promote and prepare beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Take guest beverage orders and accurately input orders in appropriate pointofsale system
- Maintains cleanliness of work area/outlet
- Accurately total process and collect payments from guests to include but not limited to using the pointofsale system handling money processing credit and debit cards making change and processing gift certificates and cards
- Requisition stock and rotate products
- Secure and store all beverages food and other equipment items
- Deposit cash drops secure and balance bank and sign out/in keys
