Audit Senior Manchester
Top 30 UK Accountancy Firm
Salary:(dependent on experience and qualifications)
Join the Manchester office of a highly respected Top 30 accountancy practice. This team delivers audit and advisory services to a broad portfolio of clients across the UK.
Youll take a lead role onsite supervise junior staff and work closely with clients. You must have at least 2 years of UK practice experience in a similar role. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
What Youll Be Doing
Lead audits from planning through to completion
Manage teams onsite delegate tasks clearly and within deadlines
Maintain high audit standards and adhere to internal procedures
Review junior team members work and support their development
Draft clear audit reports outlining key risks and findings
Build positive relationships with clients and adapt your communication style
Work across departments to enhance the client experience
Support a collaborative team environment and share your knowledge
What Youll Bring
ACA or ACCA qualified/part qualified (or equivalent)
Strong audit background in UK accountancy practice
Knowledge of risk assessment and controls
Ability to lead and mentor junior team members
Comfortable engaging directly with clients
Uptodate understanding of FRS and IFRS
Analytical and able to solve problems efficiently
Familiarity with CaseWare and CCH is helpful but not essential
