Salary: FCLW 23783.40 pro rata
Working Pattern: 20 Hours per week 3.00pm 7.00pm 40 weeks per year

If you have an eye for attention to detail and enjoy general cleaning you could be perfect for this career. Why not join one of our many teams of cleaners in Schools within the Kirkcaldy area.We currently have a temporary mobile vacancy Monday to Friday on a 40week contract.
As a Mobile Cleaner you may be asked on a daily basis to move from one establishment to another to provide cover. When not providing cover you will remain in the establishment specified in your base. Some degree of flexibility in working arrangements may be required.
Mobile Cleaner
- 20 hours per week 1 post 3:00pm to 7:00pm) 40week contract. This post is temporary for 1 year.
You will earn a competitive salary of 23783.40 prorataand have access to a range of benefits including:
- We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of 12.67 per hour for this post plus extra payments for shift work including weekends.
- Pay is annualised for 40week contracts (equal instalments every 4 week pay period)
- Membership of Fife Pension Fund which is part of the Scottish Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS Scotland)

- Travel expenses will be paid we pay 45 pence per mile to staff using their own car.
This work is about ensuring pupils and staff can return to a clean and safe environment every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference. No previous experience is required as on the job training is given working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate
The Person
Before confirming your appointment you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
Have the ability to travel to numerous locations within the specified area of work a current Driving Licence is desirable.
You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
