Job Description
Duration:4 months (Contract W2
Location: Atlanta GA (Hybrid Candidate Must be Local)

Job Summary:
The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of ITspecific projects from initiation through delivery. This seasoned professional will manage larger and more complex projects ensuring they are completed on time within budget and according to scope. The role requires collaboration with internal stakeholders IT staff and thirdparty vendors/contractors to deliver strategic initiatives that align with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
General Duties
- Manage IT infrastructure and software implementation projects including network upgrades server deployments and software rollouts.
- Coordinate with IT staff and stakeholders to define requirements and perform feasibility assessments.
- Create detailed project plans and oversee implementation activities including progress tracking documentation training and delivery.
- Define project scope goals deliverables and success criteria.
- Communicate expectations clearly to team members and stakeholders.
- Schedule project milestones and report progress regularly.
- Conduct project postmortems and compile recommendations for process improvement.
- Estimate resources and draft budget proposals.
- Secure necessary staffing and recommend resource adjustments as needed.
- Negotiate internal resource allocation and coordinate with external consultants.
- Oversee the full project lifecycle from planning to closure.
- Resolve project conflicts manage dependencies and mitigate risks.
- Produce reports documentation and presentations for stakeholders.
- Motivate and support project team members to achieve project goals.
- Foster relationships that are essential for project success.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Indepth knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall Hybrid).
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project Jira).
- Strong communication leadership and problemsolving skills.
- Technical acumen in IT systems infrastructure and enterprise applications.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering Business or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- At least 5 years of professional IT project management experience including team or project leadership roles.
- Masters degree in computer science Engineering or Business (or equivalent experience).
- 58 years of experience managing largescale or enterpriselevel IT projects.
- PMP PRINCE2 or similar project management certification.
