GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
To assist the principal or a designee with attendance issues and procedures in order that the principal may devote maximum attention to administering an effective instructional program.
ESSENTIAL TASKS
The following duties are normal for this position. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Thorough knowledge of business English spelling and arithmetic. Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Ability to work independently in the absence of specific instruction. Ability to meet the public effectively. This position requires the ability to communicate (oral and written) coordinate instruct compute and to evaluate on a consistent and ongoing basis.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and considerable experience in progressively responsible clerical work. Thorough knowledge of standard office practices and procedures equipment and secretarial techniques. A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Typically sitting at a desk or table. Some standing walking moving climbing carrying bending kneeling crawling reaching handling pushing and pulling. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential tasks.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Inside office environmental conditions exist (temperature controlled low hazard low noise level).
