Amazon Logistics aims to leverage optimization techniques and data analysis to innovate a last mile delivery network. Last Mile seeks a Supply Chain Manager Capacity Planning to lead in the space of capacity planning across traditional and crowd sourced delivery service and sort models.
Responsibilities: Leading endtoend network initiatives involving multiple stakeholders. Developing the network strategy for new initiatives Analyzing data on upstream connections using SQL Tableau and Excel Defining metrics to measure and monitor supply chain performance inbound flows and transportation metrics Interacting with and influencing field operations leaders. Working with Research Scientists and Data Engineers to develop planning models to optimize for cost while meeting capacity needs. Working with technology teams and product managers to develop new tools and systems to support the growth of the business.
3 years of program or project management experience 3 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements Experience working cross functionally with tech and nontech teams Bachelors degree
3 years of driving end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience 3 years of driving process improvements experience Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization Experience building processes project management and schedules
