Job Description
Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville Florida is seeking a skilled and motivated Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our dynamic and highly respected Urology APP team. Our APPs are trusted clinical partners working closely with 14 Urologists a growing population of urology residents and a toptier nursing and procedural team.
Role Highlights:
- Manage Survivorship Clinics for prostate bladder kidney and testicular cancer.
- Deliver care across a broad spectrum of urologic conditionsfrom routine concerns to acute and urgent needs.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care and perform inoffice urology procedures.
- Contribute to the Urology Urgent Care practice in a supportive teambased setting.

Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated APP with:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong clinical acumen and critical thinking
- Enthusiasm for working in mens health cancer survivorship and complex urology care
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to teambased care
Core Responsibilities:
- Obtain detailed histories and conduct physical exams
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Perform urologic procedures (based on credentialing and experience)
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Prescribe medications per Florida state law
- Educate and counsel patients and families
- Contribute to quality and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner: Mastersprepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current FL RN and APRN license and certification as a FNP ANP or ACNP.
Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the FL State Board of Medical Practice.
Additional Qualifications:
Active BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross at start date and DEA registration required
