Job Summary/Description:
Join the awardwinning creative team at KMOV! Were looking for a talented and experienced Video Editor who possesses a strong foundation in postproduction and motion graphics to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing short and longform content. This role requires attention to detail working as part of a team and strong postproduction skills including motion graphics color and sound design.
Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Edit and assemble raw footage into polished commercials promotions and longform projects
Collaborate with producers and other creative team members to create engaging video pieces for various platforms.
Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and consistency.
Stay current with industry trends in video editing motion graphics and marketing to implement new techniques and tools.
Optimize ideas and video content while following winning trends in brand marketing
Qualifications/Requirements:
Strong storytelling skills with the ability to elevate any project
Working effectively within the team conveying ideas clearly and fostering an environment of open and constructive feedback.
The ability to establish priorities meet deadlines and ensure the efficient of projects.
Thriving in a crossfunctional team environment actively contributing to the goals of the Creative Services Department
37 years in video editing and motion graphics with a portfolio showcasing a range of video projects.
Proficiency in video editing with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
Bachelors Degree in Journalism Film Communications or a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
