Experience:8 years of experiencein software/system testing with a focus onDoD enterprise applications.
Location:Onsite atContractor Facility in DC
Expertise intest automation frameworks (Selenium JUnit Cypress Robot Framework etc..
Experience designing and executingBDD test cases using Gherkin (GivenWhenThen format).
Strong understanding ofCI/CD pipeline integration for test automation.
Ability to leadtest planning and reporting ensuring compliance with DoD mission objectives.
Role Summary:
TheSenior Test Engineer will be supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) andleadstest strategy automation and performance validation effortsforSpectrum XXI software suite ensuring compliance withDoD cybersecurity performance and operational requirements. The engineer will overseetest automation RMF compliance validation and software verification processes ensuringhigh system reliability and security.
ContractSpecific Responsibilities:
Test Strategy & Leadership
Define and managetest plans scenarios and scriptsto align withDoD spectrum management workflowsoutlined in the PWS.
Leadendtoend system validationefforts ensuring all SXXI updates passUAT regression and integration testing.
Overseeperformance and scalability testing ensuring SXXI can supportfrequency assignment transactions per month as outlined in the PWS.
Automation & CI/CD Pipeline Optimization
Architect and implemententerprisewide automated testing solutionsintegrated intoGitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Developautomated API test casesensuring interoperability betweenSXXI NTIA and DISA systems.
UtilizeBDD frameworks (Cucumber SpecFlow Behave)to enhance test automation coverage.
Cybersecurity Testing Responsibilities
Ensure test automation validatessystem authentication access control and encryption functionalityas part offunctional security testing.
Work with cybersecurity teams to ensuresystem security test casesalign with DoD operational security needs.
Stakeholder Engagement & Mentorship
Serve as theprimary test leadforSXXI software releases coordinating with development and cybersecurity teams.
Providementorship to MidLevel Test Engineers ensuring best practices intest automation and system validation.
Participate inTechnical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) Agile sprint planning and PWS compliance discussions.
