With over 250 physicians 220 nurse practitioners and physician assistants and nearly 100 locations in our network. Utilizing innovative clinical research cuttingedge technologies and advanced treatments we are committed to providing worldclass cancer care. We are recognized by the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) with a national Clinical Trials Participation Award FCS offers patients access to more clinical trials than any private oncology practice in Florida. Our patients have access to groundbreaking therapies in a community setting and may participate in national clinical research studies of and treatment protocols. In the past five years the majority of new cancer approved for use in the U.S. were studied in clinical trials with FCS participation prior to approval.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists physician in the care and teaching of patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program masters degree in nursing or postmasters nurse practitioner certificate program

• Current license/registration to practice in the state of Florida prescriptive privileges or eligible to apply

• Certification from American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the Oncology Nurses Certification Corporation (ONCC)

• Must be BLS certified.

• Fluency in the English language with verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively to diverse populations including physicians employees patients and families is also required.

• Leadership skills are necessary to direct others toward objectives that contribute to the successful treatment of patients.

• Analytical skills are necessary to evaluate patients status health care procedure / techniques and to monitor quality of patient care.

• Fiscal skills are required to monitor and control costs and revenue.

• Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion while performing duties is essential.

• Valid Florida drivers license for travel to clinics

• Must have clear driving record and appropriate levels of auto coverage.

• A Motor Vehicle driving record check will be conducted post offer of employment.
