Job Description

The Role:

As the Network Practice Lead your main focuses will be to help build highly resilient scalable and modern product offerings and GTM strategy alongside fronting our initial scale engagements with key clients as we grow the practice. The role of the Network Practice Lead involves being a driving force in the development of cuttingedge WAN and LAN networking technologies at the inception of new service propositions. This is your opportunity to make a mark shaping and defining the future. You will also be integral to the productisation of new cuttingedge service offerings.

Your role will be client facing but you are still technically strong. You will be commercially aware with a business mindset an expert communicator and youll be able to converse with a range of technical and nontechnical stakeholders from client CSuite through to our internal Board of Directors.

Being vendor agnostic is crucial youll need excellent knowledge and experience across multivendor networking solutions spanning traditional WAN and next gen cloud delivered WAN and LAN architectures. Youll also have deep knowledge of security and connectivity concepts with the ability to build a clients Internetwork Strategy Roadmap linking in the benefits of multiple business propositions including Cloud networking. Your approach will be customer centric led to deliver outcomebased solutions and youll continually put the customer first.

The Candidate:

  • Be instrumental in developing and productising new networking services. Proactively drive exceptional and consistent customer experiences by innovating our solutions and delivery models to drive increased customer experience through progressive and credible solutioning expertise.
  • Advise and lead on strategy and the development of networking products and services.
  • Deliver proactive and deliberate engagement with sales leadership sellers and the wider business to assess and support opportunities in various stages of flight (presales through delivery considering resource requirements and constraints).
  • Translate and present complex technical topics assessments and migration strategies to customer leadership teams to enable leaders to make well informed outcome based decisions.
  • Develop market insights and competitive intelligence in collaboration with the Sales leadership team Technical Operations Director Product Management Partner Management Marketing other GMT Pillar Practice Leads and Sales teams that aid in the development and success of the Network Practice.
  • Provide colleagues and customer senior leadership within depth assessments and appraisals of current business processes and network environments defining key migration road maps objectives and deliverables.
  • Clearly identify and define success factors and articulate constraints related to technical and business challenges for network adoption and migration.
  • Still have a keen desire and capability to be handson. Network experience in Traditional WAN (MPLS VPLS) Next Gen WAN (SDWAN SSE SASE) and Cloud Networking with cloud native services NVAs and cloud networking architectures vWAN.
  • Keep abreast of current and emerging technologies to recommend the best technology solutions and approaches to achieve customer business outcomes.
  • Attend customer meetings to conduct presales postassessment report delivery and present Network adoption roadmaps and migration strategies.
  • In depth knowledge of major networking vendors with particular focus on Fortinet Palo Alto Cisco HPE Aruba and NVIDIA (Mellanox & Cumulus) ideally Expertly Certified or equivalent professional level or specialty certifications.
  • In depth knowledge of virtualised network functions (NFVs) and Cloud network virtual appliances (NVAs).
  • Formal training or certification on network migration concepts and proficient expert experience.
